In March 2004 I was diagnosed with High Blood pressure, diabetes and low iron. I had dizzy spells, no balance and numbness in my legs from my knees to my ankles

After the first visit to the Healing Rooms my numbness in my legs disappeared. After the second visit my dizzy spells were healed, but my iron count kept getting lower and lower. In June and July I underwent a series of tests. The Doctor could not find out where the iron loss was from.

In September I had prayer again for my low iron count. In October another blood test and this revealed my iron count was NORMAL! The Doctor was very surprised and happy with the result and said….”You must have had some good prayers!” I said…”yes, and God is a good listener and He heard our prayers”! PRAISE GOD!

I first visited the Capital Healing Rooms in July of 2004, I was suffering from a prolapsed disc and severe sciatica as well as depression, which I was treating with medication. I walked with the aid of a cane and had constant pain in my back and down the length of my back leg. I had been suffering the depression for around 12 months and really was starting to believe that I had no future and was worthless.

I first injured my back in July 2003 and my doctors had told me that the only “real” option available to me was an operation, as they believed that the disc and nerve had welded themselves together. At this stage all I wanted to do was just walk, stand, sit and move and maybe lift and hug my children without any pain. After receiving prayer I felt immediate relief from the sciatic pain, and within ten minutes of leaving the rooms at Fyshwick I walked without my cane for the first time in six months. I continued to use the cane off and on for a couple of weeks afterward, my wife reading the information provided by Capital Healing Rooms suggested that I may be being deceived that I still needed the cane and after acknowledging the work that Christ had done for me I snapped the cane in half and have never needed to use any assistance walking or standing since. At the same time the need or desire to take the depression medication was lifted and the blackness that seemed to have enveloped my life was gone. I had no withdrawal effects and have started to regain control in my life. I could also walk and stand with a manageable amount of pain and I was able to lift my children up somewhat gingerly.

I did, however, still feel pain in my back, which made me walk with a limp. Again on the insistence of my wife I made a return visit to the rooms at Fyshwick, and this time the pain and discomfort in my back lifted completely. I have been able to walk, swim, run and enjoy my children. I was also able to bring one half of my old cane down and give to the wonderful people there as a testimony to the work that God has done. The first thing I did when I returned home was to carry my wife across the threshold of our house. God has truly blessed me through the ministry at the Capital Healing Rooms.

The one thing that I have to remember is to be aware of the enemy’s deceits when I start to imagine that I still have the back or sciatic pain, because I know beyond doubt that God has truly healed me, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually as well.

I was taken to hospital and placed in intensive care after suffering severe abdominal pain, high temperatures and a feeling of general unwellness for some days. I was diagnosed with a perforated bowel and septicaemia. After ten days in hospital, eight of those nil by mouth, I was put on a very strict diet and told by a specialist that this was permanent. Surgery was a possibility in the future after my blood infection had been rectified.

I visited the healing rooms hoping only for the strength to cope with the pain I was suffering, and to face major surgery. After one visit I felt relaxed and peaceful. Within a few hours my fear of pain and surgery disappeared, but so did my pain. The following week I visited my surgeon who told me that there was no need for any further treatment. I have been symptom free since that time and I know it will continue that way. Thank God!!!

In early August my friend had her gall bladder removed. Unfortunately she did not begin to feel better, and in fact, had to be admitted to hospital with severe painand a high temperature. She was then diagnosed with liver cancer – a particularly rare type which could not be operated on.

Many people were praying for her and I came to the Healing Rooms to ask them to pray for her as she was fearful, despite knowing the presence of the Lord. She had many scans and tests which were sent to the liver unit at Prince Alfred hospital in Sydney.

Then God began to change things around. She was told that the specialist could operate to remove three quarters of the liver which would give her about one to two years (instead of two to three months). There was a danger of post operative bleeding which could be fatal. Our prayers increased for her protection from infection and bleeding, for the skill of the surgeons and the nursing staff.

One prayer was that the surgeons would say whilst operating that what they saw was not what they expected. (I assumed this meant that the tumour was smaller or more easily removed).

On the day of the operation I was at the Healing Rooms, at about the time of the operation we prayed very strongly for my friend. God showed us my friend lying in an ordinary hospital bed, rather than an intensive care bed. My first news of the operation was that only one eighth of the liver had been removed, and that she had no other complications. Four days after the operation I received that amazing news that surgeon had come to see her, he said, ‘I have two words for you – NO CANCER!!!’.

He was amazed because he was convinced that the tumour had every sign of being a malignant cancer. Praise God! He changed my friend’s life around from having inoperable liver cancer with a few months left to live to having no cancer at all. My friend held onto the prayer that God could change her situation.

It is so wonderful that God can answer our prayers with MORE than we could ask or imagine. We continue to pray for complete recovery from surgery and her return to a fruitful and happy life with us.

Uncertainty in crossing roads judging car speeds. Dizziness when I turned my head to look. Uncertainty and dizziness when walking unable to judge depth etc when walking. I had falls and needed to use a stick. I blamed my eyes.

The day I had prayer for my eyes I had an appointment with the Optometrist for new trifocal glasses. When I had fitting with the glasses the trifocal alignment was incorrect and I was asked if I had trouble seeing when walking. With the new glasses I can walk without a stick, no dizziness or uncertainty and can gauge the speed of cars to cross the road. THANKS BE TO GOD! HE KNEW THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM!

On my first visit to the Healing Rooms on 17/9/04 I asked for physical healing for several things. One was my foot. I had had a fall and broken several bones. The doctor had confirmed that there were several broken toes and the bone along the side of my foot was also broken. The entire top and side of my foot was badly bruised so I was used to seeing the black and purple over the whole foot area when I took off my shoes and socks.

When I left the Healing Rooms I noticed that my foot didn't hurt as I walked down the stairs but it wasn't until the next morning when I was in the shower that I saw that all the bruising had gone. My foot was totally back to its normal skin tone. Also the pain had gone. I returned to my normal exercise routine with increased vigour and was now able to walk 45 mins a day on the treadmill.

God had healed me. Praise Him. I went back to the doctor and she wrote on my records that I'd had healing prayer and the foot was fine!

For the last 3 years I have been experiencing great tiredness so much so that whenever I have undertaken even a small chore, like the weekly washing, I have had to sit down and rest. Often this rest period led to 2 or 3 hours sleep. In more recent times, I have experienced drowsiness when driving, and on two occasions actually went to sleep momentarily but the Lord awakened me just as the car began to veer to the side of the road. By sleeping during the day meant that I had trouble sleeping at night. By being awake much of the night meant that I was tired during the day and so it went on, and on and on. I consulted my MD who diagnosed potential sleep apnoea. Last Friday (6^th Aug) I awakened exhausted. It was with great effort that I drove to Fyshwick. I felt overcome with weariness and this was 10.30am! So in faith, holding onto God's promise to heal me - His words to me of many years before - and the hope in His faithfulness I visited the Healing Rooms. Prayer was offered for healing of this ailment and related issues.

Saturday morning I arose refreshed after a good night's sleep & shopped, did the washing, worked in the garden, dined, read and watched TV then to bed - a 'big' day by the last 3 years standards. I awoke Sunday morning without any weariness! I AM HEALED! PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS MERCY & HIS LOVE!

I have had problems with AMENOREA (not menstruating) and irregular periods for eight years. This has also affected my bone density.

I am part of the prayer teams at the healing rooms. On the first night when we came to pray through the building, before the offices were even finished, there was a general prayer for healing for those present. No-one laid hands on anyone and no individual prayer was prayed over anyone. FROM THAT NIGHT ONWARDS I HAVE HAD A REGULAR PERIOD AND IT HAS CONTINUED FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS. PRAISE GOD, HE IS SO FAITHFUL!!

I had FIBROMYALGIA for a couple of years and it had only been diagnosed about 12 months prior to this.

The Lord led me on a path of changing my lifestyle; I thought to cope with the disease. I did explore and find a lot about myself in the process, but He spoke and said He had plans that would not be thwarted.

Then a friend told me of the Healing Rooms. I believe that God commenced the blessing where brethren dwell in unity, so I went. The ministry was gentle, restoring and from that day on I showed none of the symptoms of the disease.

Over one month later and a very hectic time in between and I am still healed and at peace with my God. Praise the Lord for His goodness endures forever!!

Here is some fantastic news about the healing of both of my nephew’s (Will) hips - Praise God and Hallelujah! Will had Perthes disease in both hips, which is unusual to start with, and he had lost 50% of the bonehead of both femurs. He had been banned from all physical activity for the most part of this year. Will had scans in late October, to determine whether he would be having total hip replacements in both hips. The scans showed 100% healing of the bones in both hips and amazingly this is called the "healing phase" of the illness. But even the Dr was amazed that this had happened so quickly and so completely. That's because we know why. Praise God for his healing hand. The Dr stated that once the body goes into the "healing phase" of this disease, then it shouldn't affect Will as severely again and he doesn't want to see him for 1 year. He is now allowed to do whatever activity he cares to do! The Dr congratulated the parents for their diligence in keeping him free from activity, and my brother and sister-in-law are ecstatic with the news, and accept it was part of the process of the illness. I know this display of God's goodness and awesome healing hand, will not return empty, but will be used for His glory. Cathy Nov 09
