Praise be to God and the faithful Intercessors who have prayed for my mum, Marion. My mother was extremely ill with bowel cancer and in Calvary hospital. My Pastor came to the hospital to pray with her. He was speaking to me and preparing me for when it comes time for ‘our loved ones’ to depart this earth (as we must all face – with or without Jesus).

In the last weeks my mother has been to the cancer specialist and the report was – NO cancer!!! Again my mum went for other tests last Tuesday and the results were – NO cancer!! My Pastor was amazed and asked me was I sure. He said ‘this is a miracle’! He had seen my mother so ill in hospital and now she was free of cancer! Praise God!!!

HEARING | 27 Feb 2012

I attended the Healing the Nations conference. Prior to the conference I had been given vouchers for free Hearing Aids (as I’m on a pension) as there had been such a decline in my hearing that I was going to need the aids. I was prayed for by 2 different people at the conference and I felt the fire of God come upon me and all over my ears. When I went home and turned my music on I had to turn the volume down as there was a definite change in my hearing. Praise the Lord!!

My right knee had been giving me trouble – inflammation and pain after running and when I squatted. After a session of prayer I can squat without any pain. I firmly believe that this will continue.

I came to the Healing Rooms for the first time in August 2010 experiencing the worst depression I have ever felt due to my marriage problems. As soon as I left I felt a sense of serenity and peace and the assurance that the Lord would help me through it. I am back with my husband and we are working towards a much better relationship. Bless the Lord!!

GALLBLADDER AND GALLSTONE | 21 Sep 2011

I had been feeling nauseous and run down on and off for a while (at least 12 months) plus eating was causing me some problems as there were times where it didn’t seem to matter what I ate, I was nauseous.

In August 2011, I went to see the doctor who sent me off for an ultra sound which I had on the 22nd August 2011. The result was “two gallstones, the largest measuring 20mm and attached to the wall of the gallbladder”. The Dr. said I would have to have an operation to remove the gallbladder and booked me in at the hospital for this procedure.

On August 26th I went to the Healing Rooms. As I was being prayed for I felt something inside me drop and afterwards I noticed that I didn’t feel nauseous anymore. I went back to the doctor and requested another ultrasound as I knew God had healed me and I didn’t want to have the operation.

On 12th September I had the 2nd ultrasound and the report read “the 20mm gallstone previously seen on ultrasound of the 22nd August is NO LONGER PRESENT”.

PRAISE GOD!! I’m healed and I don’t have to have the operation as there are NO STONES in my gallbladder!!

HEADACHES | 15 Aug 2011

I was experiencing headaches and other worrying symptoms. My Dr. scheduled an MRI of the brain in case of a brain tumour. I was extremely scared and worried.

I came to the Healing Rooms and received prayer. I was anointed with oil and healing in the Name of Jesus was claimed.

My MRI of the brain was clear!!

Praise God! He alone is my hope and strength. He is my healer!!

My right shoulder has been in pain for a couple of years. I felt to come to the Healing Rooms for prayer and God healed me. No more pain!

PRE-CANCEROUS MELANOMA CELLS | 26 Jul 2011

I prayed for my husband at the Healing Rooms to cover the surgery for pre-cancerous melanoma cells discovered in a biopsy of skin from his shoulder. The pathology, after removal, showed that there were in fact 3 melanomas present and the doctor had removed them all. He had further surgery to remove a wider margin of skin at the edges. He is clear of the cancer and I thank the Healing Rooms for their prayers that everything would be taken that needed to be and that the doctor would have wisdom and skill. Thank you God for healing my husband and for answering my prayer!

Nervous Breakdown | April 5

I have tried all my life to be good and failed many times. About four months ago after quite a few difficulties and about 14 nervous breakdowns I felt different. I feel different. I know now that God loves me unconditionally and every moment of every day. I am aware that it is nothing I have done but He has come to me and made a different and new me.

He is continually teaching me and so often I am slow to see the lesson but His love and His arms are continually about me.

We had a profound learning experience at our church recently and there was a question, “What do you really want to do?” My answer was, “Pray continually”.

God is answering that and showing me that He knows best. I continue to pray for those who need His help and am so grateful for the love of Jesus Christ and God and the Holy Spirit and the loving and caring way I have been treated by those at the Healing Rooms.

Gluten Intolerance | March 26

Approx. 3 weeks ago I came for prayer for a gluten intolerance that I have suffered from for 7 years. I was asked to place my hand over my stomach and during prayer I could feel a fluttering under my hand and down my legs. At home I tested it with eating a large pizza all in one go! Praise God I have since eaten all sorts of previously ‘forbidden’ gluten rich foods with absolutely ZERO SYMPTOMS. Our God is magnificent and can heal in an instant! Now I can retrain everyone who always were so kind to provide me with gluten free food. Bring out the cake!! My God has healed me!!

Gambling addiction | 14 March

God has set me free from a gambling addiction!

On Tuesday 22nd February, 2011 I went to Capital Healing rooms for prayer for Jesus Christ to free me from this addiction that I had for many years. The team prayed for me. 8 days later, on a Monday morning at home I had a strong attack to go and play the poker machines and I struggled with the decision to go and gamble. At once the Holy spirit spoke to me very loudly saying if you go and gamble you will be offending God. It touched my heart and I said I was not going to gamble any more as I don’t want to offend God. The struggle, the torment and the decision to gamble went away from me!! THANK YOU JESUS – He has set me free!! Thank you to the prayer team who prayed for me.

Neck Pain | 11 February 2011

I have had a very sore and stiff neck for many years. I believe it was first damages when I was ten when a gym teacher pushed me into a back somersault. It was made worse by working for many years on a drawing board and also doing craft. The pain and tension sometimes made sleep difficult. I could only get some temporary relief with massage. I had someone from the congregation pray for me at the Healing Waters Conference recently and the pain is completely gone. Thank you Jesus.

I came to the Healing Rooms on Tuesday and received some great answers to prayer.

I wanted someone whom I knew to pray for me, and I met one of the people who prayed for me before. I arrived later than I planned, but the Healing Rooms were open for 2 hours longer than I thought, so I received prayer that day (I didn’t even pray for this one). I felt understood without having to explain myself – the prayer team heard from God and didn’t need details.

I have been partially healed of my asthma – I was taking extra medication twice a day, and I was going to ask the doctor to increase the dose. But since Tuesday I have used it twice in three days – and only then when I got anxious, worked too hard, and lost sight of God.

I have started the process of leaving bad influences and memories of the past behind – this was a message that the prayer team had for me. I spent Wednesday morning praying about bad patterns in my family, and many memories fell into place so I could pray specifically. I felt much healthier and closer to God afterwards.

I struggle with claustrophobia and a fear of flying, however still fly if the need arises, even though I have had some traumatic experiences doing it. In late March I had to fly to Perth so had prayer before I went. Those praying asked for peace, bound claustrophobia and prayed that my son who was flying with me would notice a difference. I was a little nervous going over but so much better than usual that he commented. Coming home I was totally relaxed – a shock to him as well as me. I was able to say “…well maybe prayer works after all!!”

In February 2007 I contracted a urinary tract infection. Part of the treatment process involved a CT scan and the taking of several blood samples.

The CT scan revealed that my prostate was enlarged and one of the blood tests revealed the PSA reading as 16.4. For another medical condition I received regular hormone replacement therapy and so a higher than normal PSA reading for a man of my age (64) might be expected, but 16.4 was most unexpected. There was some concern that there may be cancer. With this news an appointment with an urologist was made.

In the meantime I made my way to Capital Healing Rooms for prayer. The prayer offered was that the prostate and the PSA reading would return to the normal size and level for a man of my age receiving HRT. It was my regular prayer, however, leading up to the specialist appointment that the Lord would return the prostate size and PSA level to that of a man of my age who is NOT receiving HRT.

A further set of blood tests was ordered by my GP for my appointment with the urologist. The urologist was nonplussed when he compared the original CT scan and PSA reading with the latest PSA reading and his “in rooms” examination of the prostate. He declared there was no point in taking a biopsy of the prostate as it was the NORMAL SIZE FOR A MAN OF MY AGE and as for the PSA reading, it was MIRACULOUSLY 1.8!!

Notwithstanding these surprising results, the urologist arranged for me to undergo a surgical procedure wherein he would examine my urinary tract to see if he could determine the cause of the original infection. He found no reason for the infection declaring all within perfectly healthy!

So it is that I make this testimony to the glory of God and thank Him for His ever ready helping hand and loving response to the prayer.

I came to the healing rooms on Monday, July 25 with pain in my belly, in my back, and unable to sleep flat in my bed due to a gallbladder full of stones.

Upon arriving I filled out a form and waited for the team to pray. When I went into the room for prayer some one had seen a vision of my gallstones being exploded and the three of them knew I was to be healed.

It took about five minutes of prayer and I felt nothing but I had come for a healing and that’s exactly what I got. All the way home I thanked God for my healing and prayed in the spirit. The next day I had eaten something with fat in it and had pain only in my back not in my belly.

In getting encouragement from another person, she said, “don’t let the enemy rob you – continue to claim your healing,” which I did. Now I have no pain and can sleep flat without worry of being attacked by pain in my belly and back.

After a visit to a medical practitioner, and tests, I was told my KIDNEYS had “shut down”. I refused to accept man’s words and immediately said, “by the stripes of Jesus I am healed and have health, healing and wholeness in the Name of Jesus”.

My CK was 1207, but over a period of a few months – I went to the healing rooms during this time, and the only medicine being the Word of God - my CK became normal, now 107. Each day I spoke to my body (especially my kidneys) and told them to function in the perfection that God created them to function. I reminded my body daily that it was the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus had set it free from the law of sin and death. I asked for prayer at the Healing Rooms for a healing of oral thrush which had persisted and worsened over two weeks. One of the team felt the thrush would disappear as I spoke out. I sensed this referred to the next Monday when I was asked to give the eulogy at my friend’s funeral. I spoke out about his faith in the love and faithfulness of God, a faith he had shared with me when I needed it most. The next day I was back on my bike, the pain gone in my mouth, my strength restored! Praise God!

A few months ago I came in for prayer for very deep shoulder pain to the point it restricted me taking off jumpers and sweat-tops. The pain was excruciating and ran deep into my body (right side). Cause unknown (maybe over exercise). After prayer that night I noticed over the next few days that the pain had diminished with the absence of pain when changing pull-overs. Within a week the pain had COMPLETELY GONE and I thank God for His healing upon me (something I’m not accustomed to). I know this is God’s healing as normally this type of injury requires physiotherapy which I was more than happy to dump this time around!

On route to my brother’s for Christmas, Dec. 2005 I felt a very painful lump on my lower gum. Pain killers eased the pain over Christmas/New Year and it subsided. However it resurfaced in April, 2006 and the dentist X-Rayed the area and got my G.P. to prescribe antibiotics to clear the infection so he could do root canal therapy on that tooth. After 3 successive trips to the dentist he was able to complete ½ the tooth but the other ½ of the tooth was too sensitive to treat and to come back in 6 months.

Prior to going back to the dentist last Monday I asked for prayer at the Healing Rooms and 2 of the ladies had identical witness that he (the dentist) wouldn’t find anything wrong with the tooth and that was exactly what happened.

Also, the apprehension that had built up about this 5th visit for the same tooth and growing expense ($600) was replaced by HIS INCREDIBLE PEACE! THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR AWESOME HEALING!

In September 2006 I was designated a date for major surgery (3rd hip replacement). Following this I became full of fear – couldn’t sleep – kept dwelling on what post-op complications could occur etc, etc. (Trained nurse 35 years) The Holy Spirit moved me to attend the Healing Rooms at Fyshwick for prayer.

I received prayer and was anointed with oil in the name of Jesus. The fear vanished within 15 minutes! I couldn’t get to the hospital quickly enough. My healing was miraculous. I was walking normally in 5 weeks post-op! Usually crutches are required for 9 – 10 weeks.

Some weeks ago I came out to the Healing Rooms for prayer. I had over a period of time been feeling stressed. This was getting me down in a way that I wasn’t able to concentrate. It was really worrying me. On arrival at the Healing Rooms I felt to ask for prayer for something else other than fear. I was trying to think of something that didn’t seem to be as bad as fear or stress.

I went into the room with the people who prayed and I told them my problem was FEAR and that I was stressed. The people prayed for me and I felt that God was there. It seems that He was moving me into other things to do. Time will tell. All I know is that the Lord has done something in me, and I feel different! I was so glad that I asked for the prayer I needed rather than the prayer I was tempted to say.

Just before Christmas 2006 I suddenly developed a very painful left knee. X-rays were taken which showed I had mild osteoarthritis. After several more weeks of pain I asked my Dr. to refer me for an MRI. The results revealed that I had severe cartilage damage, a tear in my meniscus cartilage and a Baker’s Cyst behind the knee. A planned trip to China for one month in May of this year was close to being cancelled because I had difficulty with walking. Then, I heard about the Healing Rooms. I came for prayer on a Monday night, but the pain seemed to get worse, so back I came the next day. By Wednesday the pain had lessened though I still walked with a limp. Several more prayer sessions and my walking is almost normal.

I praise the Lord for the healing He has done thus far and will continue to have prayer until my healing is complete! God works in His Way and in His time!!

I went away to work on a cruise ship as a dancer. I came in to the Healing Rooms just before I went away and asked for healing for my right knee, that had two knee reconstructions, and for growing strength in my Christian faith in a particularly hard area (ie. the ship). My knee was great, I had very little pain and my faith and strength in God grew.

I danced 10 shows a week and danced for God.

20th August, 2004, which is 4 years ago, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which I suffered soft tissue damage in my neck, shoulders and upper back.

In the following couple of months I developed a stiff neck and shoulders, accompanied by severe headaches. These escalated in frequency from once a week to having three to four a week.

My husband and I always prayed about each of these as they came; some of which were healed. I ended up at the Capital Healing Rooms seeking healing. I experienced a wonderful sense of anointing of my head during this time of prayer. In the following ten days I realised the headaches had dramatically decreased. I attended a healing seminar about four weeks later where the symptoms of all my injuries were totally healed.

Praise the Lord, He is merciful and I forget not all His benefits.

When I was 10 weeks pregnant, the ultrasound showed up an abnormality. The medical professionals were predicting that our baby would have anyone of a number of syndromes and started talking about the possibility of terminating. We were never open to that possibility and instead we asked those around us to pray for our baby. This included a visit to the Healing Rooms.

After our baby was born she was diagnosed with Beckwith-Wiederman Syndrome. The abnormality was corrected surgically, but she did not need any cuts or stitches. After a month in NICU, she came home.

Of all the syndromes predicted, this one was the one with the best outcomes and further genetic tests have shown that she has a form of it that is unlikely to be passed on or repeated. She has a fairly mild form of it and will grow out of all the other effects. Compared to other babies who have the same syndrome, she is doing incredibly well, not needing more invasive interventions due to other possible complications.

We continue to trust her to God’s hands and have already seen God use our experience to bless people whose paths we have crossed.

Praise Him for His goodness and faithfulness.

A testimony of many thanks and struggles suggest that my only hope is God. Years of alcohol abuse, my life was starting to go down fast, drinking until I dropped. I humiliated family (particularly) and friends with drunkenness and disgrace. I was involved in serious car accidents, D.U.I., committed fraud, with no concept of an addiction. The guilt was so obvious, I kept quiet having no rebuttal or excuse. No A.A. or hospital could help.

Secondly, I was going through massive court cases, one after the other, re-offended D.U.I. charges and accidents. My readings were so high that jail became most likely. The Court had sent notices from the Correctional Services to sight and the course of action was jail without doubt. I walked past a Church, went in and prayed. With compassion the Judge convicted me with a very light charge and I was free to go. Following this another 7 month Court hearing for fraud – I had taken a very substantial amount from the Gov. to buy alcohol. The dept. became very angry, called a meeting to impose a burden or claim for repayment of the dept. with interest.

I CALLED OUT HELP!!! Again jail was the course of action given for this type of offence.

I CALLED ON GOD through prayer and support of others through the Healing Rooms. After 7 months of continuous Court appearances for fraud, the 2 Gov. depts. started fighting against one another. In addition the CHARGES WERE DROPPED!! Today I am paying back the money, but walk free.

It’s been 10 months since my last drink and I now hold down a job. I AM VERY THANKFUL TO THE LORD!!

On Wednesday 6/8/08 I was having a painting job done at my home and after the painter had gone I realised that the furniture needed to be put back in its place.

Each item was heavy, even with the bookcase emptied of its books. Thursday at a ladies meeting they prayed for me as I was incredibly stiff in my back and tops of both legs and in considerable pain. It was even painful to sit.

Initially I improved but after a sleep overnight woke to be almost as stiff as the day before. As I was on the team at the Healing Rooms on the Friday I asked for prayer and now can testify that ALL STIFFNESS and PAIN in my body has COMPLETELY GONE! THANK YOU LORD and ALL PRAISE TO HIM!

For the last 3 years I have been experiencing great tiredness so much so that whenever I have undertaken even a small chore, like the weekly washing, I have had to sit down and rest. Often this rest period led to 2 or 3 hours sleep. In more recent times, I have experienced drowsiness when driving, and on two occasions actually went to sleep momentarily – but the Lord awakened me just as the car began to veer to the side of the road. By sleeping during the day meant that I had trouble sleeping at night. By being awake much of the night meant that I was tired during the day and so it went on, and on and on. I consulted my MD who diagnosed potential sleep apnoea. Last Friday (6th Aug) I awakened exhausted. It was with great effort that I drove to Fyshwick. I felt overcome with weariness and this was 10.30am! So in faith, holding onto God’s promise to heal me – His words to me of many years before – and the hope in His faithfulness I visited the Healing Rooms. Prayer was offered for healing of this ailment and related issues.

Saturday morning I arose refreshed after a good night’s sleep & shopped, did the washing, worked in the garden, dined, read and watched TV then to bed – a ‘big’ day by the last 3 year’s standards. I awoke Sunday morning without any weariness! I AM HEALED! PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS MERCY & HIS LOVE!

On Tuesday 27/5/08 I attended the Healing Rooms Team training evening. I had woken that morning with extreme pain in both wrists. I’d taken several lots of pain medicines but there was no relief. So painful were they that I felt concerned about driving to Fyshwick for the meeting. However, I still went because I love the sense of the presence of the Lord in the Healing Rooms and thought it a good place to be.

Whilst we were watching the ‘miracles’ on the 8 min. DVD I cried out to the Lord for a miracle in my wrists. As I left to go home I was pain free in my right wrist and by the time I woke the next morning I was pain free in the left. I remain pain free still.

I thank the Lord for His healing miracle with praise in my heart.

I am on team. I felt that we should be pressing into God more for limbs to grow out to their correct length. The Lord said to me, ‘What about your short leg?’ It was injured in a road accident 34 years ago and my foot is now suffering with pain on weight bearing. I felt the Lord say to me that I needed to press in for lengthening of my own leg so that I could have authority to pray for others in this regard. The team who prayed for me did not see my very different prayer request on the form. They waited on the Lord asking Him what he wanted to do. God kept speaking to them about ‘walking in the way’ and ‘giving balance’ and ‘bringing things into balance’ and ‘I’m going to do a new thing. Be expectant.’ When they prayed I felt the power of God. I still feel it now. The leg bone grew part of the way as they prayed. I believe that the bone will continue to grow until it is the same length as the other leg. The pain in my foot was bad this morning when I walked from the car. Now when I tested it there is now pain at all! Thank you, God. Jill 2/5/08

I am overdue for a hip replacement operation for my right hip. I also have osteoporosis which has caused curvature of my spine. This puts extensive strain on the two main muscles at the back of the neck that hold the head upright resulting in considerable pain on the back of my head in the area of these two muscles. Since May 2006, I have had monthly physiotherapy on the right hip and also on the neck muscles to help alleviate this pain which typically can start and continue for two weeks or more.

On the evening of 11th February 2008 I had healing prayer for my right hip. Approximately twenty five minutes later I realised that the considerable pain that I had experienced up the back of my head for the past two weeks HAD GONE. This pain has not returned. Praise God and a big “thank you” to the team who prayed for me.

I attended the Healing Rooms Training in February 2008. Whilst at the training I was part of a ‘demonstration’ on the process of praying for the sick. In December 2007 I had a fall and injured my wrist, fingers and thumb and was in pain and still had swelling around my wrist.

After prayer, the swelling and pain have gone from my wrist, as has the bruising to my finger. The tenderness in the thumb area is still there but I am believing that will also move on! PRAISE GOD!

In May 2007 I went for a stress test for my heart and was unable to complete the test because of chest pains. It was suggested that I should have a different, more revealing test, a stress echocardiogram, so that the cause of the chest pains could be discovered. (I was given medication to keep my heart from being stressed.) The next 4 months were very stressful with my daughter & husband both seriously ill and requiring surgery. Throughout this time I attended the Healing Rooms asking for prayer for myself and for them. (Twice I had to postpone my stress test.)

Amazingly the words that were given to me from the prayer team were more powerful than medicine. Each time I went for prayer I was met by Jesus. Each time, often in a different way, once even while in the waiting room, I was touched by His Spirit.

When the day finally arrived for the stress test, I was quite unwell with a viral infection but I had been to the Healing Rooms for prayer just the day before asking that God would take care of me during the test, that the result would be clear! The 2 ladies who prayed both received the same word from the Lord for me:

“Rely on me. Trust in me. Don’t be anxious about anything.” Phil 4:6(Anxiety had been my constant companion most of my life for several reasons and this Scripture had also been given to me on a previous visit. One of the prayer team said that she had heard the word so loudly that it was as if God had a megaphone and He was shouting to me). We all laughed! They prayed specifically that there would be no blockages in any arteries or my heart. So the next morning, in spite of feeling unwell, I went for the test. It was incredible how peaceful I felt. I pushed myself hard, normally something I wouldn’t have done, trusting God all the time, trusting in the healing presence of Jesus as I had never done before. It was a new experience for me.

As the cardiologist proceeded with the test (which uses an ultrasound to discover any blockages in the arteries) she proclaimed that there was nothing that she could see at all – that everything was normal!

The following day I visited my GP who found that my blood pressure was normal and it was in fact the BEST it had been in the last 5 years.

I praise God for this healing touch in my life, for removing from me anxiety about my heart and for the incredible works of healing that He does through the team of available intercessors in the Healing Rooms.
