REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS 2022-2023

CHR has a policy of supporting other individuals and organisations who are living by faith in 3rd world countries and who also have similar goals and objectives to our own. We firmly believe it is better to give than to receive and when we sow seed into good soil, even financially, it will produce a harvest.

During the 2022-2023 financial year CHR provided support and funds to the following overseas partners all of whom have been verified to comply with ACNC External Conduct Standards. These can be found on the ACNC website at

Cambodian Care

Koy and Reny Chhim - Phnom Penh Cambodia

SIM - Serving in Mission - Rachel Hay South Africa

Steve & Ros Lazar - Iris Ministries Mozambique.

Support provided to SIM and the Lazars was by way of a monthly gift to assist with their living expenses thereby enabling them to carry out their mission activities. SIM received AUD$100 per month and Lazars AUD$200 per month.

CHR also received a number of ‘specific purpose gifts’ for Cambodian Care & Koy & Reny Chhim. These came from various fund raising activities external to CHR or those donors who gave gifts specifically for Cambodian Care or Koy & Reny Chhim. All of the money received from donors in this regard was transferred electronically to Cambodian Care & the Chhims. The only deduction being the Australian bank fee applicable to the transfer. We retain NO administration fee.

The amount received for Cambodian Care during this period was AUD$4,350 and the amount transferred was AUD$4,350.

The amount received for Koy & Reny Chhim was AUD$3,750 and the amount transferred to the Chhims was AUD$3,750. The CHR board is satisfied the funds forwarded to these individuals or organisations were used to further our purposes as a charitable entity, used in a manner which benefited the communities to which they were sent and these transactions complied with all relevant laws both in Australia, South Africa and Cambodia.
